Internship offer - Health and social policy

ESIP is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven intern to support its activities in the field of health and social policy from January-April 2020. 

This is a 4-month internship with a possibility of extension into a contract in 2020.


  1. Supporting ESIP’s communications policy and advocacy work including: 1) participating in meetings with EU institutions and partners; 2) attending conferences and meetings; 3) informing ESIP’s members about public consultations and assisting in the coordination of joint responses; 4) assisting in the coordination of ESIP position papers and statements;
  2. Providing support for ESIP’s Committees, General Assembly and Working Groups;
  3. Assisting in the organisation of ESIP’s meetings and conferences;
  4. Assisting the ESIP Public Affairs and Communications Officer e.g. drafting press releases and articles for the ESIP newsletter; creating web content; contributing to social media communications.
  5. Supporting the ESIP President, Vice-President and Director.


  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Academic degree in EU Affairs, Public Affairs, Political Science or Communication;
  • Bilingual or native level of written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages considered an asset;
  • Excellent computer literacy (experience of Office 365 a plus), knowledge of website editing will be a plus;
