4th Annual Forum-'The contribution of social security to Europe's growth & competitiveness'

The 4th ESIP Annual Forum took place in Brussels on 15 October 2025. The Forum is ESIP's flagship annual event, bringing together leaders and experts from across Europe’s social security landscape.
This year’s edition titled 'The contribution of social security to Europe's growth and competitiveness' has been particularly insightful, as CEOs of ESIP Member organisations took the stage to share their vision and expertise, and explore whether Europe's competitiveness and its social safety nets are at odds—or can work hand in hand.
Three panels featured thought-provoking discussions led by ESIP's leadership on key topics shaping Europe's future such as:
Strategies for financing Europe's welfare states
Health as a pillar of European security
Social protection in the age of artificial intelligence
Our Members' CEOs were joined by Francesco Corti, member of cabinet of Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, responsible for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness, Roxana Mînzatu, and by Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner responsible for Health and Animal Welfare Health.
Heartfelt thanks to our speakers and to all of you for taking part and turning the Forum into a big success!
